Nizam Club can truly boast of yesteryears Royalty and bureaucracy of Nizam Era as members. The members are from old Nizam era families. The club location in centrally located in heart of Hyderabad city opposite to Telangana Legislative Assembly Building and the club was established in September 26 1884 by the Nizam Nawab Mahbub Ali Khan on the line of secunderabad club which was then predominantly british club, Nizam club was promulgated as Hyderabad Nobility Club, without any discrimination towards religion, race and caste. The Present premises was established in 1906 for Rs. 30000/-. The aim of the club is to provide indoor and outdoor games in leisure hours and promote a fraternity feeling among the residents of the city.

Nizam Club has Library, health club, Gym, fitness Centre for ladies, Shuttle Court, Two Full size swimming pools, Tennis court, Billiards, Cards Section and a Restaurant.

Club is listed among city heritage for being a landmark and INTACH has awarded for restoration and preservation effort.
