Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium is also known as uppal stadium. It has replaced lal bahadur shastri stadium as the premier  sporting arena for cricket. It has hosted many international cricket matches, it is home ground for Deccan Sunrisers.

This is an exclusive cricket stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad.It has a capacity of 55,000 spectators and is built over 16-acre (65,000 m²) space. It provides one of the best facilities for the cricketers and best rest rooms in the world. The first match held in this stadium was between South Africa and India
