State Archaelogical Museum Hyderabad

The Telangana State Archaelogical Museum Hyderabad, located int he picturesque Public Gardens in Hyderabad, has an amazing collection of sculptures, paintings, arms and artifacts from different periods, Including those dating to the 2nd century BC, Most of the collections belong to the Asaf jahi period. The seventh Nizam built it in 1920. The museum building in itself is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. State Archaelogical Museum Hyderabad contains Buddhist, Brahmanical and jain galleries; Bronze gallery, Arms & armory gallery, Numismatics gallery, Ajanta gallery and other wings with priceless objects of art, Its principal attraction is an Egyptian Mummy.
