University of Hyderabad (UOH), but also known as the HCU, the Hyderabad Central University is a Central University located in the city of Hyderabad in Telangana and India. University of Hyd Founded in 1974, this public residential university largely occupies approximately 2,000 acres in the locality of Gachibowli on the outskirts of the city. University of Hyd came into existence as one of the points of the so-called Formula six points in 1973, and reached a political settlement in after protests during the 1960s and early 1970s in the region.

University of Hyderabad reputation for providing academic training has built a high quality, and has been recognized through a number of awards: portfolio, presented by the Prime Minister of India, and grades of A, which is the highest, and by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
