Urdu Hall Hyderabad

Urdu Hall has been the epicenter of Urdu Deccani Literature and Poetry. The Hall is established in 1955 by then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to promote Urdu literature in Telangana Region.  The Hall holds seminars and shayari festivals in Urdu regularly. The Hass is situated in the busy commercial centre of Himyatnagar.  There are various part time and full time colleges which operate from this place to educate and promote Urdu language.  Noted decani Urdu poet Makhdoom Mohiuddin was also associated with this centre in its heydays.
