A chat with the 25-year-old reveals his plight that began shortly after the confinement after landing in the city to receive treatment from his wife.
With money running out and no way to return, his family of five – a husband, wife, and three children – are stranded in the city. With no one else to seek any help, Ahmed said he took to the streets to obtain funds to pay for his rented accommodation in Toli Choki.
“For the last town months we havent been able to pay rent (RS. 15000). If we cannot get money now, we might lose our home,” said the young man adding, ‘ We came here abotu eight monts ago with Rs. 50000 for my wifes treatment at medicover hospitals. She had gynaecological problem. Now the mony is over and we do not know what to do.”
